Ideal for small dogs and cats that tip their bowls, or animals traveling in an RV, this sturdy water bowl is designed with our canine and feline pals in mind! Handcrafted on the potter's wheel from solid stoneware clay, the weight keeps the bowl upright while the wide, inverted curve rim helps to reduce splashes. Blending beautifully with any decor, the American-made white glaze is chip-resistant, scratch-resistant, lead-free, food-safe, and safe for use in the microwave and dishwasher. To assist in drainage after washing, the bowls includes 3 decorative drain holes to allow water to escape the rim. Made by hand in North Carolina, the bowls are available in 2 sizes for medium/small dogs - and cats love them too! Pet Bowls available in 2 sizes (choose above): Larger size - approx. 9" diameter x 3" high ; 48 ounce (approximate) volume ; weighs 4 lbs Small - approx. 6.75" diameter x 2.5" high ; 24 ounce (approximate) volume ; weighs 2 lbs - Note: To prevent splashing or sloshing, fill bowl so that water stays below the rim. This bowl is NOT intended for dogs that pick up/shake their bowl or drip water. This bowl is indented for pets that push their bowls and/or for vehicle travel. - Note: Due to the handmade and firing process, the size and volume will vary slightly.
